Our Story

Blooming flower farm takes a lot of pride in offering phenomenal customer service, quality ingredients and beautifully designed flowers.

We’re on a mission to share our love of flowers with as many people as possible. Blooming flower farm was established by Karen Moore, on the family lifestyle block in Maraekakaho. Both her mother, who lives close, and her husband play significant roles in helping out. Karen lives there with her 2 teenage children, dogs, cat. pony and chickens.

Our designs feature seasonal flowers grown on Blooming flower farm. We combine our flowers with carefully sourced locally grown flowers. This means your flowers are grown with minimal sprays, a smaller environmental footprint, longer shelf life and high quality.

We know that sometimes ordering flowers can be a bit overwhelming. Blooming flower farm is here to help. Got a question? Ring us on 021901472 or email hello@bloomingflowerfarm.co.nz.

Meet Karen Moore

I was born and raised on a dairy farm in Tokoroa. As a flower farmer I get to work on the land and also surround myself with beautiful things. I’m equally happy in both environments. I love my job and the chance to be creative.

When I’m not flower farming my happy place is drinking a good glass of wine and watching a good crime thriller with my husband or with good friends. I always wake up early and own way too many Diary’s and Apps to try and keep myself organised. I have questionable taste in music. I’m abolutely terrible at singing but love to do it anyway.
